Die AMC Advanced Medical AMC Advanced Medical Communication Holding GmbH from Hamburg specialises in software development in the healthcare sector. AMC was the first company in Germany to implement the idea of a web-based hospital information system.
The foundation stone for today’s system was laid as early as 2003. At that time, the range of functions was limited to the ward workstation, but today CLINIXX® is a comprehensive product that guides patients through their stay in hospital from admission to the ward, various tests, possible operations, care with all documentation methods to billing via the health insurance company and doctor’s letter.
Today, AMC is firmly established as a technological leader in the market for hospital information systems (HIS) and continues to set standards, e.g. with the association United Web Solutions vor Healthcare e.V., which unites medium-sized providers of web-based software in the healthcare sector in a best-of-breed strategy. In the meantime, more than 45 hospitals in German-speaking countries have decided to use CLINIXX®.
